Established in 1983, the Army Retirement Residence Foundation - Potomac, acts to ensure the strength of military retirement communities and the quality of life for their residents. They serve all residents in meaningful ways from providing a supportive, beautiful environment, to helping residents in financial need.

Nestled on 12 acres just south of Old Town Alexandria, Paul Spring is known as the premier retirement community in the Mount Vernon area.

Carrying on a tradition of excellence since 1988, we are part of a family-owned Virginia company that built their first retirement community back in 1982. And we've been going strong ever since. Then as now, our primary focus is to provide you the amenities and lifestyle YOU want, the way YOU want to live every day. So, come on in and let us know how we can help you achieve the kind of retirement you have earned, and deserve!

At Sunrise Senior Living, we believe where you live is a place for comfort, freedom, and happiness. And youÆll enjoy just that at The Fairfax, one of Northern VirginiaÆs finest retirement homes and senior Independent Living communities. Established in 1989 by the non-profit Army Retirement Residence Foundation-Potomac (ARRF-P), The Fairfax is a unique community that serves retired military officers, their spouses (from the U.S. Uniformed Services), the CIA, FBI, Foreign Service and other Federal Agencies as well as the parents of active and retired military personnel and civilians.
