Virginia Department of Health has announced a new app, COVIDWISE, which will notify you if you have been in close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19. This app does not track or store private information or your location.
After you download Covidwise on your smart phone, follow the app instructions to turn on your Exposure Notifications. This allows you to be notified if you’ve likely been exposed.
