Holly Dougherty

Holly Dougherty has served as the Chamber's CEO for more than twenty years. During this time she has been responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Chamber office while supporting the Board of Directors.

 

Holly has lived in the Franconia area for the past 40 years where she has raised her family. Her six children are the joy of her life.

 

She has served on several community boards and advisory committees and is currently a member of the Franconia District Land Use Committee, the Mount Vernon SSPA Task Force, the Fairfax County Community Consolidated Funding Advisory Committee (CFAC), and the Fairfax County Community-wide Energy and Climate Action Plan Task Force.

 

Before joining the Chamber, Holly was the Special Assistant for Cabinet Affairs to the US Secretary of Energy; a Special Assisant for Public Affairs to the US Secretary of HUD; and a staff member for US Senator Orrin Hatch.

 

Holly is originally from Utah were she graduated from Brigham Young University.

Anila Angjeli

Anila has 25+ years of experience in the architecture and building industry.  She holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Virginia Tech, and a 5-year professional degree from the Polytechnic University of Tirana, Albania. Anila is a Registered Architect in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.  She is NCARB and LEED AP certified.  Anila has been appointed to the City of Alexandria Building Code Board of Appeals. Anila is also elected to the Board of Directors for the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce.

Anila takes a holistic approach to all projects.  Her passion, talent, and extensive experience in architectural drawings have led to the construction of many creative designs. She strives for excellence and integration of multi-sensory, sustainable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective solutions.  Anila has designed and coordinated a wide range of projects, including new construction and renovation of commercial, residential, and interior projects.

Brian Danzig
As President, I have been involved in every aspect of the company including sales, customer service, logistics, operations, marketing. Able to market effectively with digital media by designing and analyzing advertising effectiveness in reaching new customers. Using expertise in hiring, training and knowledge of the credit card processing industry, I have helped grow the company into a leading Independent Sales Organization. As an innovative leader, practicing an open-door policy, working with employees to engage in creative and successful sales and customer support practices. Taking pride in having excellent employee retention and success. I firmly believe that if you take care of your employees, they will take care of your business. Developed a revenue sharing program in 2016 with Regional Banks and Credit Unions in the Washington, DC Metro area. This program brought in an additional merchant processing volume of $2 million per month.

Paul Dean
Managing Partner
Paul J. Dean, Esq. is the founder and sole proprietor of The Dean Law Firm, PLLC. He is a graduate of Harvard University and the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason and is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Paul has lived and worked in the Mt. Vernon/Alexandria area of Fairfax County for more than 20 years. After a successful government affairs career spanning more than two decades, he founded this firm to more directly meet the legal needs of individuals, small business owners, and non-profit organizations in his community.  Practice areas include Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts), Probate and Estate Administration, Small Business General Counsel Services and Non-Profit Law.

Paul resides in the Ft. Hunt Community of Fairfax County with his wife Kathleen, four children, and faithful hound, Duncan. He serves as President of the Ft. Hunt Youth Athletic Association and can be found most weekends coaching all manner of youth sports.

Kurt Gray

Kurt Gray is owner and CEO of KEG Ventures Inc. (dba Seniors Helping Seniors) and principal of KEG Consulting LLC. He spent 17 years as director of Driver Education & Training for AAA Club Alliance before retiring early after 29 years of service. In his role as CEO, he leads an in-home senior care agency that strives to empower seniors to continue to live independent lives by taking care of day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as you age. Gray has over 20 years of traffic safety experience – he works with aging drivers and organizations to deliver industry-leading driver safety programs and a comprehensive approach to risk management.
