RPSV's South County Recovery and Drop-In Center (SCRDIC), located at 8794 S. Sacramento Drive in
Alexandria offers free programs and services for adults with mental health, substance use, and
homelessness issues in your community. SCRDIC is currently recruiting individuals and businesses
interested in providing hot meals (especially breakfast) for homeless adults on Saturdays and Sundays.
The homeless adults we serve are not affiliated with shelters and are living in precarious situations.
SCRDIC's lead staff recently shared how much these individuals enjoy coming to the center and smelling
the ‘smells of breakfast’ (e.g., pancakes, syrup, etc.). #wonderful We are inviting the public to consider
purchasing breakfast items and delivering them to the center to provide an extra special treat for those we
serve. (For example, twenty-five McDonald's breakfast platters). Our participants really appreciate it when
the public supports them, they are always moved when they realize people care about their well-being!

SCRDIC is one of RPSV's five Recovery Centers across Northern Virginia where adults with mental
health, substance use, and homelessness issues can receive free support to recover and move forward
in life. Since its inception, more than 100,000 Northern Virginians have done just that!
RPSV's programs are free, no referral or insurance is needed. Just drop by or join us online. We welcome
in-kind and financial donations to help those we serve to recover. Thanks for caring for those without a
