Please join Recovery Program Solutions of Virginia (RPSV) in helping provide new, clean underclothing (underwear, boxers, panties, and bras, adult sizes S-3x) for the homeless adults we serve. This drive is year-round.
Most of us take for granted that we can change into clean, fresh undergarments whenever we want. That’s not the case for those without a home. RPSV is seeking donations to provide this option to those we serve because we believe good hygiene is dignifying for each of us. It helps build self-esteem and confidence. Donations of items or funds to purchase them are welcome.
To participate kindly deliver your donations to our South County Recovery and Drop-In Center, located at 8794 S. Sacramento Drive in Alexandria (near Fort Belvoir in the plaza with the Planet Fitness). The centers hours are Monday and Friday from 3-7 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm - 7 pm. (For financial donations, please visit rpsva.org/donate-now.)
You can also drop items off at any of our four other Recovery Centers -- in Arlington, Annandale, Merrifield, or Reston. Our center information can be found here:
https://www.rpsva.org/recovery-centers
If you’d prefer to order online and have your donation delivered to our centers, please email mtaylor@recoveryprograms.us for the shipping address.
Please visit here for more information about the drive and thank you for considering helping give the homeless an option to change into fresh underclothing!
