While more than 70% of eligible residents in Fairfax County have received at least one shot of Covid-19 vaccine, the Fairfax County Health Department says there are still pockets of communities where vaccination rates are far below 70%.

Fairfax County is providing a free Mount Vernon Vaccine Equity Clinic, at 7451 Mount Vernon Square Center, Alexandria, VA 22306 (Former Safeway site) with free transportation to the clinic.

Beginning this coming Saturday June 12 and Sunday June 13 and running for three consecutive weekends in June, the Health Department and Fairfax Connector Bus, in partnership with Safeway, will provide free bus shuttle service to residents, businesses and employees along areas in and around the Route 1 corridor in Mount Vernon, who want to be vaccinated, but lack access and convenience.

The Clinic will be open Thursday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (no shuttle service)
Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Connector Bus)
Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Connector Bus)
Walk-ins welcome! Appointments also available, call 703-324-7404 or schedule online: Pfizer vaccine or Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
