The Board of Supervisors will be considering a new Zoning Ordinance in February to change the regulation of special events and food trucks. This proposal examines existing standards and reviews processes for special events and food trucks to identify areas for improvement, increase flexibility, and remove unnecessary impediments and time limits for temporary events and food trucks.
Special events and food trucks help activate spaces and add vitality to communities, and there has been an increasing desire to incorporate more temporary uses and activities throughout the County.
