Andrew Wheeler is currently the Director of the newly created Office of Regulatory
Management for the Commonwealth of Virginia and serves on Governor Youngkin’s cabinet.
Andrew served as the 15 th Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency,
serving on President Donald J. Trump’s cabinet. He was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on
February 28, 2019 having previously served as the Acting Administrator and the Senate
confirmed Deputy Administrator.
Prior to his service at the EPA, Andrew was a consultant and of counsel at Faegre, Baker Daniels
law firm where he led the DC office Energy and Environment team and co-led the firm-wide
Energy and Natural Resources Industry Team.
Andrew also spent fourteen years working in the
United States Senate including six years as the Staff Director and Chief Counsel for the Senate
Environment and Public Works Committee
Andrew graduated with a BA from Case Western Reserve University, an MBA from George
Mason University and a JD from Washington University in St. Louis.
Andrew Wheeler is an Eagle Scout.
