COL Joseph V. Messina assumed duties as U.S. Army Fort Belvior Garrison Commander 9 August 2022. In this role, he provides installation base support to military service members, civilians and contractor employees, and 150 mission partners that fall into various levels of medical, logistical, research, and development, intelligence, acquisition, operations, training and reserve components - a varied mix of commands, activities, and agencies which give Fort Belvior an extremely diverse customer base spread throughout the National Capital Region and beyond.
