Anila has 25+ years of experience in the architecture and building industry. She holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Virginia Tech, and a 5-year professional degree from the Polytechnic University of Tirana, Albania. Anila is a Registered Architect in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. She is NCARB and LEED AP certified. Anila has been appointed to the City of Alexandria Building Code Board of Appeals. Anila is also elected to the Board of Directors for the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce.
Anila takes a holistic approach to all projects. Her passion, talent, and extensive experience in architectural drawings have led to the construction of many creative designs. She strives for excellence and integration of multi-sensory, sustainable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective solutions. Anila has designed and coordinated a wide range of projects, including new construction and renovation of commercial, residential, and interior projects.
Dr. Cynthia Coy
Dr. Cynthia Coy, Founder and CEO of Uncaged Solutions, LLC, is a leadership professional with over twenty years of leader development, strategic planning, training and process improvement experience throughout her US Air Force and private sector careers. She founded Uncaged Solutions, LLC to help leaders discover the link between their self-awareness and achieving breakthrough results. Cynthia has coached executives and facilitated teams at all levels in nonprofit, government and private sector organizations.
She earned her doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. Cynthia also holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Troy University and a bachelor’s degree Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State University at San Marcos). She is a certified DISC trainer and consultant, a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Practitioner, and a certified Emergenetics Associate.
Cynthia is also an Executive Director with the Maxwell Leadership Team and delivers customized training to help leaders and teams increase communication, build trust, maximize sales and improve interpersonal skills utilizing the Maxwell Method of Speaking, Coaching, Selling, and Leadership. This set of professional skills trainings includes workshops, seminars, keynote presentations and weekly courses for managers, entrepreneurs, executives and individuals who want to advance their career.
Holly Dougherty
Holly Dougherty has served as the Chamber's CEO for more than twenty years. During this time she has been responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Chamber office while supporting the Board of Directors.
Holly has lived in the Franconia area for the past 40 years where she has raised her family. Her six children are the joy of her life.
She has served on several community boards and advisory committees and is currently a member of the Franconia District Land Use Committee, the Mount Vernon SSPA Task Force, the Fairfax County Community Consolidated Funding Advisory Committee (CFAC), and the Fairfax County Community-wide Energy and Climate Action Plan Task Force.
Before joining the Chamber, Holly was the Special Assistant for Cabinet Affairs to the US Secretary of Energy; a Special Assisant for Public Affairs to the US Secretary of HUD; and a staff member for US Senator Orrin Hatch.
Holly is originally from Utah were she graduated from Brigham Young University.
